The present invention relates to a photocatalyst-supported inorganic hollow bead for water treatment and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the photocatalyst-supported inorganic hollow bead for water treatment is manufactured in micrometer size, and has the large specific surface area, thereby having high processing efficiency. Also, the present invention has a specific gravity of 0.7-1.1, is manufactured in a form of a fluidized bed, and is easy to recollect after water treatment, thereby being able to be applied to processes of which an additional removal of organic materials are needed among facilities for purified water, wastewater treatment, recycling facility, and water treatment facilities. According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing the photocatalyst-supported inorganic hollow bead for water treatment can solve a problem, that is, a desorption of the photocatalyst when an oxidation reaction or a decomposition of a support and an adhesive by coating the photocatalyst with hollow inorganic supports by means of a sol-gel method without using the organic support or the adhesive. Also, the manufacturing method has simple manufacturing processes and can be widely applied to a water treatment field due to a high photocatalytic activity.
