<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse analyzer and a pulse analysis method capable of accurately discriminating an emission source.SOLUTION: The pulse analyzer of an embodiment comprises: a pulse-time-interval measuring unit; a coordinate-point definition unit; and a coordinate-point-pattern extraction unit. The pulse-time-interval measuring unit measures a previous pulse time interval between a received pulse signal and a previously received pulse received before the received pulse signal, and a later pulse time interval between the received pulse signal and a later received pulse signal received after the received pulse signal. The coordinate-point definition unit defines coordinate points based on coordinate values on a first coordinate axis indicating the previous pulse time interval and coordinate values on a second coordinate axis indicating the later pulse time interval. The coordinate-point-pattern extraction unit extracts a coordinate point pattern similar to a coordinate point pattern of the received pulse signal from among coordinate point patterns indicated by emission source information stored in an emission-source-information storage unit.</p> |
