PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method for acquiring an image of a high SN ratio, in which mirror reflection is suppressed even in a dark environment.SOLUTION: An image processing method includes: an acquisition step S201 for acquiring a normal image photographed with all polarization components of light from a subject and an acquisition step S202 for acquiring a polarization image photographed with specific polarization components out of all the polarization components of the light; a difference step S203 for generating a difference image of the normal image and the polarization image; a calculation step S205 for calculating a coefficient to be multiplied by at least one of the pixel value of the normal image and the pixel value of the polarization image on the basis of a pixel value included in at least the difference image; and a combining step S206 for generating a combined image by combining the normal image with the polarization image using a pixel value obtained by multiplying the coefficient by at least one pixel value of the normal image and the polarization image.
