This electricity storage device is provided with: an electrode assembly wherein first electrodes and second electrodes are alternately laminated with separators being interposed therebetween; a case in which the electrode assembly is contained; and a first terminal and a second terminal, which are positioned at a wall portion of the case. End portions of each first electrode and each second electrode are respectively provided with a first tab and a second tab. A current interrupting unit is arranged between the second terminal and the electrode assembly. A part of the first terminal and the first tab are arranged side by side in the width direction of the electrode assembly, and the current interrupting unit and the second tab are arranged side by side in the width direction of the electrode assembly.
