A derivation unit derives an imaging condition corresponding to a virtual grid characteristic (grid ratio) received by a reception unit, on the basis of a table stored in a storage unit. The derivation unit sets the derived imaging condition in a radiation-source control unit. The radiation-source control unit controls a radiation source in accordance with the set imaging condition and captures a radiographic image. An execution unit of an image processing device acquires, via a detector control unit, the radiographic image captured by a radiation detector. The execution unit performs virtual grid processing of the acquired radiographic image on the basis of the virtual grid characteristic received by the reception unit and the imaging condition derived by the derivation unit, generates a radiographic image from which the effect of scattered radiation has been removed and causes a display unit to display the radiographic image.
