Provided is a hair styling product composition that increases storage stability by minimizing the sedimentation of a powder during long-term storage or by minimizing the loss of water from and separation of a composition. The hair styling product composition also makes it possible to increase spreadability and conformability by minimizing increases in viscosity at the time of application. The hair styling product composition comprises: particles (a component (A)) that are selected from the group consisting of silica, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, hydroxyapatite, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, calcium silicate, magnesium silicate, aluminum silicate, and magnesium hydroxide; a compound (a component (B)) that is selected from the group consisting of monosaccharides, disaccharides, and sugar alcohols; a clay mineral (a component (C)); and a polysaccharide compound (a component (D)). In the hair styling product composition, the component (A) content is 0.1-10 mass% and the mass ratio of the component (C) content and the component (D) content is 2:1 to 10:1. |
