The present invention pertains to a multifilament yarn comprising an extra-fine filament, especially a nano-filament, and a manufacturing device and a manufacturing method therefor, and makes it possible to impart intertwining to the yarn and bring about enhanced conjugation and strength, enabling application for various kinds of braid, knitted article, cloth, etc., from this yarn. The present invention provides an extra-fine multifilament yarn and a manufacturing means therefor characterized in that a raw filament is supplied to an orifice at an atmospheric pressure of P1 or below and heated by an infrared-ray beam in a stretching chamber at an atmospheric pressure of P2 under reduced pressure (P1 > P2) to become a stretched extra-fine filament web, the web being bundled and passed through an interlacing nozzle having a piping into which the open air outside the stretching chamber flows. |
