Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of mobile communications. Provided are a method and apparatus for scheduling a shared spectrum. The method comprises: a BSC receives a resource request, sent by a GSM cell, for requesting a shared spectrum, the resource request comprising at least a cell identifier of the GSM cell; and determines, according to the resource request, a shared spectrum that is not allocated and meets a resource interference requirement of the GSM cell, and sends, to the GSM cell, indication information used for indicating the shard spectrum according to the cell identifier, comprised in the resource request, of the GSM cell. In the present invention, a resource request sent by a GSM cell is received, a shared spectrum that is not allocated and meets a resource interference requirement of the GSM cell is determined according to the received resource request, and further, indication information used for indicating the shard spectrum is sent to the GSM cell, so that the shared spectrum used by the GSM cell is prevented from interfering with a spectrum in a range in the surrounding, thereby improving the efficiency of spectrum sharing. |
