PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer in which a predetermined insulation performance is ensured, without increasing the bobbin shape even if the number of turns of primary winding is increased. ! SOLUTION: A transformer (1) includes a first winding and a second winding wound around collars at both ends of a bobbin. The first winding consists of a first primary winding (20) wound between collars at both ends of a bobbin, and the second winding consists of a first secondary winding (21) wound on the first primary winding (20) with a width shorter than the distance between the collars at both ends of the bobbin. A part (20a) of the primary winding is wound in a space formed between the collar and the first secondary winding (21) when winding the first secondary winding (21), and the first primary winding (20) consisting of a heavy insulated wire the periphery of a copper wire is insulated with a plurality of layers. !
