In order to seal the inside 80 of a contact device to infiltration of corrosive medium as simply and effectively as possible by long-term stability, front protecting pieces 11a, 11b of the contact member 1 are arranged to extend and traverse the crimp pieces 31a, 31b in cross-section, supported by the crimp pieces 31a, 31b, and the front portion of the conductor is regulated to be covered by the front protecting pieces 11a, 11b in cross-section. !
