Provided in the embodiment of the present invention are a roaming network access method and apparatus, the method comprising: a user equipment obtains a list of networks with which the user equipment can successfully register; the user equipment searches for available networks at a roaming location; every time the user equipment finds an available network, the user equipment determines whether or not the found available network is recorded in said list; and if so, the user equipment attempts to register with the found available network. The roaming network access method and apparatus provided in the embodiment of the present invention reduce the duration for the user equipment to search for networks, shortens the time for the initial network access of the user equipment at a roaming location, and improves user experience. |
