In order to remove joined portions of an elongated image from an area of interest and enhance precision of diagnosis and measurement for the area of interest in elongated imaging in an X-ray image acquisition device, the present invention adjusts the position at which imaging is started in an imaging range so that the joined portions do not overlap in the area of interest, and the adjustment is performed by causing the center position of an imaging area including the area of interest among imaging areas for acquiring images to coincide with the center position of the area of interest, or by changing the opening degree of a movable diaphragm device and increasing the width of the imaging area that includes the area of interest.
