The purpose of the present invention is to enable transmission of a more specific location. The device is provided with a position information generation unit (113) for generating position information that includes social location specifying information (120) for identifying a specific target from among a plurality of targets, and a position information transmission unit (114) for transmitting the position information. A social location is information identifying the location (position) of a specific target, from among a plurality of targets. In a train, the social location could refer, e.g., to the car number of a target car. In the case of a bus or taxi, the social location could refer, e.g., to the vehicle identification number, license plate number, route, system, or the like of a target vehicle. In the case of an elevator, the social location could refer, e.g., to the number assigned to the target elevator. In the case of stores inside a shopping mall, the social location could refer, e.g., to the name of the shopping mall, the floor number, and the store name. |
