The present invention relates to a method and system for reminding a passenger to take a bus. The method comprises: conducting, by a bus, wireless transmission on a line number thereof; when a passenger waits for a bus, inputting, by the passenger, the name of a bus stop where the passenger needs to arrive; then, acquiring in real time the line number transmitted by the bus; querying a line corresponding to the line number according to the line number; judging whether the name of the bus stop where the passenger needs to arrive is contained in the line; and if the name of the bus stop is contained, informing the passenger of the line number, and reminding the passenger to prepare to get on the bus. Therefore, when waiting for a bus, the passenger can take the bus only by inputting the name of the bus stop where the passenger needs to arrive, without looking at a bus stop board, thereby saving time and effort; and when arriving at the bus stop where the passenger waits for the bus, the bus can conduct judgement to remind the passenger, so that the passenger may not miss the bus which the passenger needs to take in the situation that there are so many cars and people, so that the waiting time of the passenger is saved, thereby greatly facilitating the passenger in travelling. The method and system of the present invention are suitable for various terminals, such as a vehicle-mounted set top box, a smart cellphone and a PAD. |
