The present invention relates to a method for extracting and recovering salts. In terms of the method for extracting and recovering salts, the method comprises the following steps: charging a first electrode cell; introducing salt water into the first electrode cell; extracting metal ions in the salt water by discharging the first electrode cell; and recovering energy run out from the first electrode cell. The present invention ensures a selective extraction and recovery of ions by charging and discharging, and can increases energy efficiency.
