PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper processing device capable of efficiently dispersing a processing load, and further to provide a data transfer method.SOLUTION: A paper processing device includes: a first sub controller; a second sub controller; and a main controller. The first sub controller generates and outputs image data on the basis of an output signal from a camera imaging a banknote transported along a transportation path. The second sub controller generates and outputs sensor data on the basis of an output signal from a sensor measuring the banknote. The main controller inputs the image data and the sensor data related to the same banknote from the first sub controller and the second sub controller and transfers the image data and the sensor data to one external device out of a plurality of external devices. |
