PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device for enabling a user to preferably obtain sound information from a speaker for communication.SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 comprises: a cabinet; a communication speaker unit capable of outputting received voice in communication; and a control unit 11 for controlling output of the communication speaker unit. The communication speaker unit includes: a first communication speaker unit 5 for making, using a vibration wave generated by one face of the cabinet vibrating, the received voice propagate; and a second communication speaker 6 for making, using a sound wave, the received voice propagate. The control unit 11 can execute first control for outputting received voice from the first communication speaker 5 while not outputting the received voice from the second communication speaker 6, when communication is started, and executes second control for outputting a predetermined notification sound from the second communication speaker 6 when the predetermined notification sound is generated. |
