<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire capable of avoiding a situation in which the tip part is captured by a constriction and stuck, and securing sufficient passing performance in the constriction.SOLUTION: A guide wire 200 includes a shaft 20 and a coil body 230 that is wound around the tip part of the shaft 20. The coil body 230 includes a linear part 232 that forms a linear state in the tip direction from the base end, and a curved part 234 provided to the tip side of the linear part 232.
