PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a prescribed opening amount accurately with excellent repeatability to an oral cavity X formed of an upper jaw model 101 and a lower jaw model 102.SOLUTION: An articulator includes an upper jaw model 101, a lower jaw model 102, and a frame 10 on which the upper jaw model 101 and the lower jaw model 102 are fitted. The frame 10 has a positioning mechanism 20 for positioning the upper jaw model 101 on one prescribed position selectively from a plurality of prescribed positions determined beforehand with respect to the lower jaw model 102.
