<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery preparation device and method of articles to a delivery destination in which the delivery preparation of the articles to the identical delivery destination is ensured and streamlined.SOLUTION: A delivery preparation device includes: a warehousing unit; a reading unit for reading information of multiple articles received in the warehousing unit; a circulation line for circulating the multiple articles; multiple standby lanes; a sending out lanes; an outlet unit for loading the articles capable of being delivered among multiple articles sent out of the sending out lane; a return lane for returning the articles incapable of being delivered to the circulation lane among multiple articles sent out of the sending out lane; a branching unit connected to the sending out lane, and branching between the outlet unit and the return lane; and a control unit for performing at least one of the discharging operation for discharging at least a portion of the articles waited by a waiting lane, the possibility decision operation for deciding that the articles sent out of the sending out lane and arriving at the branching unit is in a deliverable state and the impossibility decision operation for deciding that the articles sent out of the sending out lane and arriving at the branching unit is in a delivery impossible state.</p> |
