<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion of a workpiece to a roller electrode after finishing welding.SOLUTION: When electrode holders 3a and 3b and a pressing plate holder 8 are lowered before performing seam welding, roller electrodes 1a and 1b are brought into contact with a workpiece 20. After the roller electrodes 1a and 1b are brought into contact with the workpiece 20 and the seam welding is performed, a solenoid 9 lowers a lifting section 6 and a pressing plate 5 via an arm 7 and brings the pressing plate 5 into contact with the workpiece 20. After the electrode holders 3a and 3b and the pressing plate holder 8 are raised and the roller electrodes 1a and 1b are separated from the workpiece 20, the solenoid 9 raises the lifting section 6 and the pressing plate 5 via the arm 7 and separates the pressing plate 5 from the workpiece 20.</p> |
