A method for attaching a wireless or non-wireless device to a platform and establishing communication there with, comprising providing a gateway, which is able to communicate with said platform, with at least configuration information regarding a device to be attached thereto, the method being characterised in that said device is unknown for said gateway, and in that the method further comprises:
