Provided are a POS terminal, etc., capable of improving the precision of white balance adjustment for an imaged object even if the light from the outside illuminating the object changes. This POS terminal device (1) comprises: an image capture unit (10) which captures an object that contains a plurality of respectively different reference colors and generates an image; a comparison unit (20) which compares the images of portions corresponding to each of the reference colors with reference images which are references of the reference colors; and an adjustment unit (30) which adjusts white balance on the basis of the result of the comparison.
