The present invention relates to a golf ball collection device and a golf ball collection method, for collecting a golf ball to the side of a golf ball collection tank without noise generation, in the case of congesting or remaining the golf ball in a horizontal conveyor for guiding the golf ball to the side of a distribution means connected to a tee-up means in a driving range. According to the present invention, a golf ball collection device is arranged between a transporting means in a golf ball automatic supply system in a driving range and a golf ball collection tank of a collecting means. The golf ball collection device comprises: a collection unit having an induction hose for introducing to the golf ball collection side by receiving the golf ball congested or remained in the horizontal conveyor; and a discharge unit including a sensing sensor installed on the outer circumferential surface of the induction hose adjacent to the horizontal conveyor for sensing the golf ball congested by being piled inside the induction hose, and a discharging device for piling the golf ball inside the induction hose, discharging one congested golf ball on an upper end among the golf balls congested with respect to a signal of the sensing sensor, and blocking a discharge path of the golf ball at the same time. |
