<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper post-processing device processing paper without changing a conveyance direction of received paper, in saved space and without reducing productivity.SOLUTION: A paper post-processing device binds a prescribed region of a paper bundle by engaging projected teeth with each other. A binding section includes a parallel binding section 121 for binding a paper end parallel to a conveyance direction of the paper bundle and a perpendicular binding section 123 for binding a paper end perpendicular to the conveyance direction. The binding sections independently perform operations. The perpendicular binding section 123 completes the binding operation of the paper end perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the paper bundle while the parallel binding section 121 performs the operation or in the vicinity. The parallel binding section 121 periodically binds the paper end parallel to the conveyance direction of the paper bundle during conveyance of the paper bundle.</p> |
