<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device that has high fitting rigidity and can obtain a stable shock absorption load.SOLUTION: A capsule 8 fitted to a vehicle body 7 supports a fitting plate 5 of a fixing bracket 6 supporting a steering column separably in a column moving direction X1 in secondary collision. The capsule 8 includes an upper member 31 and a lower member 32 which are arranged on top and reverse sides of the fitting plate 5 and united together, one or two resin pins 34 for shock load generation, and a rattle removing resin 35. The resin pins 34 are formed by injection molding to fill a first hole 29 of the fitting plate 5 and a second hole 33 of the lower member 32. The rattle removing resin 35 is molded integrally with the resin pins 34, and fills the gap formed between the reverse side 5a of the fitting plate 5 and the lower member 32.</p> |
