<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large bundle binding machine capable of preventing paper sheets from curling up, when a strip is wound around a large bundle obtained by bundling a plurality of small bundles obtained by bundling the plurality of paper sheets.SOLUTION: A large bundle 5 is sandwiched between a pair of binding plates 7a and 7b. The binding plate 7b is provided with a presser plate 11 for pressing the vicinity of an end of the large bundle 5 on the side opposite to the side provided with a strip supply part 10, in a bill stacking direction. The presser plate 11 can be rotated with respect to the binding plate 7b. A spring 12 serving as an elastic member makes the presser plate 11 directed in a direction orthogonal to a long side direction of the bill when a lateral strip is wound around the large bundle 5.</p> |
