<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective display device that can stably switch between coloring and decoloring by using a leuco dye and that can stably switch between a display mode and an erasure mode of a pixel.SOLUTION: The reflective display device includes a first substrate 1 formed of a transparent material, a first electrode 2 disposed on one surface of the first substrate and formed of a transparent material, a second substrate 8 disposed to oppose to the first electrode side of the first substrate, and a second electrode 7 disposed on the first substrate side of the second substrate. The reflective display device includes, between the first electrode and the second electrode and from the first electrode side, at least a leuco dye layer 3, a cation exchange film 4, an electrolyte layer 6, and a cation retention layer 6.</p> |
