The elastic template for contactlessly taking measurements of a human or animal figure relates to auxiliary means for contactless measurement taking. The template is in the form of a one-piece suit which is fastened using a zipper and is with or without a hood, and can be in the form of a set consisting of separate clothing elements. The template comprises an elastic base for covering the outer surface of a human or animal body, which elastic base is formed from a thin knitted fabric which provides stretchability of the base in the weft and warp directions and has the necessary indicators of form stability and elasticity. Graphical elements of a specific form and size which are inextensible in all directions are fixed on the outer surface of this base, by virtue of which each graphical element can serve as a dimensional template. The coefficient of extensibility of the elastic base can be different owing to the materials used and the surface area of the base occupied by the graphical elements arranged thereon. The templates are manufactured in accordance with a dimension-type standard. People and animals of several heights and sizes are combined in one group which uses the template of one size. For each dimension type, the form, size and order of mutual arrangement of the graphical elements on the elastic base are individual. |
