Disclosed are a method for adjusting a button light of a mobile terminal and the mobile terminal, which are used to solve the problem existing in the prior art that a button light of a mobile terminal cannot be adaptively adjusted, so that the power consumption of the mobile terminal is high and the service life of the mobile terminal is short. The method comprises: detecting the ambient light intensity of a mobile terminal; and according to the detected ambient light intensity, adjusting the brightness of a button light of the mobile terminal inversely relative to the detected ambient light intensity. |
