A water treatment unit (10) performs a normal operation of generating discharge by discharge parts (31 to 34) in the state where water inflows to a treatment tank (11) and the treated water outflows from the treatment tank (11). When the water treatment unit (10) is started, a preliminary operation of generating discharge by the discharge parts (31 to 34) in the state where the outflow of water from the treatment tank (11) is stopped is performed over a preset period of time before staring the normal operation. Thus, water, in which bacteria are propagated, standing in the treatment tank during the stop of the water treatment unit can be sufficiently sterilized. |
