PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel lithium air secondary battery which can exhibit cycle characteristics, energy efficiency, and the like, better than conventional.SOLUTION: A lithium air secondary battery includes an air electrode containing a metal co-continuous porous body, a negative electrode containing metal lithium or a lithium-containing substance, and an organic electrolyte in contact with the air electrode. The metal co-continuous porous body contains at least nickel(Ni), and has a nanoporous three-dimensional mesh structure. Consequently, voltage difference of charge and discharge is small, lowering of discharge capacity can be suppressed even if the charge and discharge cycle is repeated, and cycle characteristics energy efficiency, and the like, better than conventional, can be achieved. |
