PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed rotating turbo compressor which can be downsized and a reduction in the performance of which is suppressed during low-speed rotation to achieve more cost advantage.SOLUTION: A turbo compressor 1 includes a rotating shaft 20 rotatably supported by a housing 2, a motor 10 connected to one end side 20a of the rotating shaft 20, a compressor 3 connected to the other end side 20b of the rotating shaft 20, and a supporting part 40 provided in the rotating shaft 20 between the motor 10 and the compressor 3 and for rotatably supporting the rotating shaft 20. The supporting part 40 includes three rollers 41 provided on the rotating shaft 20, journal portions 43a, 43b formed in each of the rollers 41, and roller bearing portions 42 for rotatably supporting the journal portions 43a, 43b in the housing 3. The diameter of a portion 41a of each roller 41 for drive transmission to the rotating shaft 10 is larger than the diameter of a portion 20c of the rotating shaft 20 for drive transmission from the roller 41. |
