<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can secure a broad light receiving area of a photoelectric conversion portion, and is advantageous to suppression of deterioration of image quality.SOLUTION: An imaging device has a first semiconductor chip, a second semiconductor chip and a connection portion for connecting the semiconductor chips. The first semiconductor chip has a photoelectric conversion part, an accumulation capacitor for holding charges generated in the photoelectric conversion part, a reset transistor for controlling resetting of charges of the photoelectric conversion part and the accumulation capacitor, and a source follower for amplifying a signal charge of the accumulation capacitor and converting the amplified signal charge into a signal voltage. The second semiconductor chip has a transfer transistor for controlling transfer of the charges generated in the photoelectric conversion part to the accumulation capacitor, and a line selecting transistor for controlling connection to a column output line. The connection part connects the photoelectric conversion part and the transfer transistor, connects the transfer transistor and the accumulation capacitor, and connects the source follower and the selecting transistor.</p> |
