PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge residual urea water to an exhaust pipe.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine discharges the urea water remaining between a supply line 25 and an urea water injection valve 28 to the exhaust pipe 2 by condensed water from a water collecting line 35 while preventing an inflow of an exhaust gas component in an exhaust passage by causing the urea water to flow back to suppress generation of deposit due to the residual urea water, thereby preventing pollution due to the exhaust gas component of an exhaust passage.
