<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a guard or a cover for preventing a child or the like from putting the hand or the foot thereof into a gap between a waterproof pan for a washing machine and the washing machine or a pet or the like from entering the gap can be mounted even after the waterproof pan is installed, or the like and the waterproof pan, the guard and the cover to be used therefor.SOLUTION: The method is disclosed for mounting a translucent and a sound permeable guard or a cover with a shielding property in a freely removable manner in a space formed between opposite faces of neighboring washing machine mounting bases of a waterproof pan for a washing machine including the washing machine mounting bases in four corners. Magnets are disposed in opposing parts of the washing machine mounting bases and at least either an end portion of the guard or an end portion of the cover, and the guard or the cover is mounted in the freely removable manner by engagement based on magnetic force of the magnets.</p> |
