An input-cable display device is provided including a first substrate on which a pair of electrodes that drive a liquid crystal layer are provided; a second substrate wherein the liquid crystal layer is formed within an inner surface of the second substrate between the first substrate and the second substrate; a detection electrode and a dielectric film that are laminated on an outer surface of the second substrate; a detector; a light shielding film; and a color filter layer, wherein the pair of electrodes provided on the first substrate comprises a pixel electrode and a common electrode, and the light shielding film and the color filter layer are laminated on the inner surface of the second substrate. |

1. An input-cable display device comprising:
a first substrate on which a pair of electrodes that drive a liquid crystal layer are provided; a second substrate that is opposed to the first substrate through the liquid crystal layer, wherein the liquid crystal layer is formed within an inner surface of the second substrate between the first substrate and the second substrate; a detection electrode and a dielectric film that are laminated on an outer surface of the second substrate; a detector that detects a position at which an electrostatic capacitance is formed with the detection electrode through the dielectric film; a light shielding film; and a color filter layer, wherein the pair of electrodes provided on the first substrate comprises a pixel electrode and a common electrode, and the light shielding film and the color filter layer are laminated on the inner surface of the second substrate in order of the light shielding film and the color filter layer from the side of the second substrate toward the liquid crystal layer. |
