[Problem] To provide an electric compressor for which electrical conduction can be established between an inverter and an electric motor without causing deterioration of motor efficiency and an increase in girth. [Solution] An electric compressor (100) equipped with an electric motor (1), an inverter (10) for driving the electric motor (1), and a compression mechanism (20) which is driven by the electric motor (1) to compress a refrigerant, wherein the electric motor (1) includes a rotor (2), a stator core (3) that is disposed on the radial-direction outer side of the rotor (2), a bobbin (4) that is disposed on one end of the stator core (3) and is electrically insulating, coils (5) that are wound on the bobbin (4) and the stator core (3), and a connector housing (30) that is disposed on the bobbin (4) while positioned inward of the outer peripheral surface of the stator core (3), said connector housing (30) having connection terminals (32) for providing an electrical connection between the inverter (10) and the coils (5). |
