When driving a second slider (63) which is equipped with a first mounting head (68) at high acceleration/deceleration in one direction, a component mounting apparatus (1) drives a first slider (52) which is equipped with the second slider (63) at high acceleration/deceleration in the reverse direction from the one direction. As a result, the reaction force generated at the second slider (63) is cancelled by the inertial force generated at the first slider (52), and therefore, it is possible to suppress vibration generated at the high acceleration/deceleration operation time for the mounting head (68) in the component mounting apparatus (1). Accordingly, in this component mounting apparatus (1), it is possible to perform component mounting with high speed and high accuracy; furthermore, there is only one mounting head (68), and a counter mass such as in the prior art is unnecessary, making it possible to reduce the size of the apparatus. |
