PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition for a color filter, which excels in dispersibility, contrast, heat resistance, and brightness, and a color filter using the composition.SOLUTION: The colored composition for a color filter comprises a colorant [A], a dye derivative [B], a binder resin, and an organic solvent. The dye derivative [B] is a metal salt of a quinophthalone compound having a sulfo group, in which the metal is at least one metal selected from a group consisting of groups 1B to 7B and group 8 in the long-form periodic table. The color filter is manufactured by using the above composition. |
