Provided is an adhesive tape which has excellent shock absorbing properties. An adhesive tape (1) according to the present invention is provided with: a foam sheet (2) that is obtained by foaming and crosslinking a polyolefin resin and has a plurality of air cells (2A) inside; and a first adhesive layer (3) that is arranged on a first surface (2a) of the foam sheet (2). The foam sheet (2) has a density of from 0.5 g/cm3 to 0.6 g/cm3 (inclusive) and a 25% compressive strength of from 380 kPa to 1,000 kPa (inclusive). The ratio of the average length of the air cells (2A) to the average breadth thereof in a plane direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the foam sheet (2) is from 1.0 to 1.1 (inclusive).
