<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a location on the basis of information related to the location included in a contribution such as a station name, a place name, and a landmark name in the periphery.SOLUTION: A user location estimation device extracts a contribution posted by a user from contributions of social media on the basis of a user name, acquires information (hereinafter referred to as "location estimation information") related to a location included in the contribution and coordinate information corresponding to the position estimation information from a land name/coordinates storage means, and outputs them. Then, the user location estimation device performs any of or all steps of offering a score to the plurality of acquired user's contributions, according to not only the coordinate information corresponding to the location estimation information included in the respective contributions but also distribution of the coordinates in the periphery of the location estimation information, setting a score on the basis of likelihood of the context, and setting a score on the basis of contribution time; and estimates the location by combining the scores.</p> |
