<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned carrier system that can accurately guide an unmanned carrier between legs of a pallet regardless of the installation state of the legs of the pallet, and the unmanned carrier. <P>SOLUTION: An unmanned carrier 1 entered below a pallet 100 (between right and left legs 102) from an entry port E measures distances to guide bodies 103 provided on the undersurface of a base 101 of the pallet 100 by using first and second laser sensors 79a, 79b, and controls a travel direction so that the measured values coincides with target values stored in a laser measurement memory 72a (distances to a center line extending in the front-back direction of a vehicle body 2 from the first and second laser sensors 79a, 79b). The guide bodies 103 are provided continuously along a center line extending in the front-back direction of the base 101 irrespective of the installation state of the legs 102, whereby the unmanned carrier 1 can travel in the approximate center of the pallet 100 regardless of the installation state of the legs 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
