<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle approach alert device for a saddle-ridden electric vehicle that is optimized in the arrangement of a sound emitter for emitting an alert sound for alerting surroundings the approach of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle approach alert device is for emitting an alert sound for alerting the surroundings the approach of a motorcycle 10 from a speaker 41 mounted on the vehicle body of the motorcycle 10 including an electric motor 70 in the power engine (power unit assembly 50).
