<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint of a new structure which can be manufactured at a lower cost. <P>SOLUTION: A ball seat 4 which is inserted in a housing 2 with a ball head 32 of a ball stud 3 accommodated rotatably has a flange 418 formed on the outer circumferential surface of the ball seat 4 and snap-fit fasteners 42 which clip the housing 2 from the outer circumferential surface 210 side. The snap-fit fasteners 42 have beams 421 extended from the flange 418 in the direction of a rotating shaft 6 longer than the height of the housing 2 and hooks 4222 protruding from tip ends of the beams 421 toward the outer circumferential surface of the ball seat 4, and embraces the housing 2 from the outer circumferential surface 210 side, and each of the hooks 4222 is engaged with the end face 212 of the housing 2 when the ball seat 4 is pushed into the housing 2 until the flange part 418 comes into contact with the end face 211 of the housing 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
