<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that does not diffuse conditioned air blown out of an air outlet, can reduce air resistance when the direction of the air is deflected in a wide range, and prevents an increase in front-rear dimension of a body. <P>SOLUTION: Upper and lower hollow plate-like blowout nozzles 12, 13 which have outlets facing forward of an air outlet 3 at rear ends of an under surface and an upper surface, and are provided successively with a coanda surface and a diffuser surface before the outlets are provided at an upper edge part and a lower edge part of the air outlet 3, and an air blower is arranged at one side part in the body 1.
