<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system of applying marks for identifying the steel grade, the diameter and the like on a peripheral surface of a deformed bar steel. <P>SOLUTION: A paint for steel grade identification exhibiting a color corresponding to the steel grade of the deformed bar steel, and a paint for diameter identification exhibiting a color corresponding to the diameter of the deformed bar steel are simultaneously supplied to a plurality of marking regions 16 which are axially separated on the peripheral surface of the deformed bar steel from paint supply parts 32a, 32b juxtaposed in an axial direction of the deformed bar steel, while carrying the deformed bar steel 10 in a direction orthogonal to its axis, thereby forming a steel grade identification mark 15a and a diameter identification mark 15b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
