USER AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, AUTHENTICATION SERVER, TERMINAL, AND TAMPER-PROOF DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cancelable biometrics authentication system capable of preventing spoofing by illegally using a leaked template.

SOLUTION: During authentication, this authentication server 110 authenticated by a public key certificate generates a differential parameter, converts a template by the differential parameter to prepare a temporary registration template and transmits the differential parameter to a tamper-proof device 140. The temper-proof device 140 generates a temporary parameter from a stored conversion parameter and the differential parameter. A client terminal 120 uses the temporary parameter to convert feature quantity and generates temporary conversion feature quantity. The authentication server 110 receives the temporary conversion feature quantity and collates the temporary registration template with the temporary conversion feature quantity.
