<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in communication quality in a communication system in which a plurality of optical switches are connected in series. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 5 perturbs mirrors 230 of micromirror apparatus 3a and 3b on the basis of the control signal output from an administration apparatus 20, derives the correlation between a driving voltage and power of output light, and derives an optimum driving voltage at which the optimum power of the output light is obtained. Respective control signals of the respective optical switches 10 are so generated that the timing of perturbation is not repeated among other optical switches 10, thus the mirrors 230 of the respective optical switches 10a to 10c are perturbed without being synchronized with the mirrors 230 of other optical switches 10. Accordingly, only one optical switch 10 perturbs at one time. Thus, the synchronization perturbation of the mirrors 230 of the respective optical switches 10a to 10c is prevented, and as a result, the deterioration in the communication quality is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
