摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the in-plane distribution of MTF (modulation transfer function)occurring due to a fluorescent substance layer as a scintillator layer by limiting the light reflected by a light reflection layer without exerting an influence over the formation of an image, so that the reflection light quantity has an in-plane distribution. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for detecting radiation having a scintillator layer 2 for converting radiation into light, a reflection layer 4 for causing the light from the scintillator layer 2 to reflect, and a photodetector sensor board 1 having two or more photoelectric conversion elements for converting a light into an electrical signal is provided with a light absorption layer 5 as a reflection light limiting means functioning so that the reflection light quantity has an in-plane distribution. The light absorption layer 5 as a reflection light limiting means is formed by surface-treating the scintillator layer by use of a light source of which the light irradiation intensity has an in-plane distribution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
